THE BACK STORY

Thanks for taking the time to check out my work. I’m Ben - I’ve been a sculptor and furniture maker for a few years now, and all my work is created predominantly with zero-value materials and locally sourced lumber.

 

I think it’s important to consider what we use and what we throw away, and what happens to it once it is. My first series “one day we will all be dust” is about how things break down and how long that process takes. Considering that all of the material used was going to be thrown away, it’s crazy to consider that many of these pieces will be here for years to come.
