BUTTERFLY BENCHES FOR TONGHAM POCKET PARK

2026 | Minimum impact bench

We created 3 sculptural benches for Tonghams pocket park in collaboration with Surrey Hills Arts. 

 

Made from local, windfallen oak trees. The offcuts and chippings created from the project were transformed into bug hotels for underneath the benches to promote a healthy invertebrate population for the park. 

On each of the benches there are audio experiences commemorating the WWII stories of tongham as well as information around low impact gardening and the importance of wildlife havens like the pocket park.

BELMONT STORES BESPOKE SCULPTURE

2022 | Reimagining retired scissors

Belmont Stores wanted a way to incorporate some of their own history in this sculpture which was created for the launch of their new barbershop in Walthamstow.
